The Potential of Gardening


We have a mud patch out front. It's what I stare at from the kitchen window, it needs fixing.
It already has a cherry tree, a holly, and a hedge planted - those sticks at the front, use your imagination.

But I'm very excited to see the Cherry is creating luscious pink buds:


And the bulbs I shoved in the ground before Christmas, on the basis better late than never, are doing their job.

  

But it's still rather sparse, and I have dreams of it looking all Piet Oudolf.
So I got outside and planted some seeds over the weekend. These are trays of potential.
